Oman's Sultan Qaboos Port is home to two of the world's largest superyachts, Al Said and Fulk al Salamah.
Every time we visit the Sultanate of Oman, we make sure to stop by the Port of Sultan Qaboos. That's indeed what we did in our recent trip to the Sultanate. The reason? To gaze at two amazing superyachts moored there. The 155 meter Al Said was delivered in 2008 by German shipyard Lurssen and is considered the primary superyacht of the Oman Royal Yacht Squadron. Her exterior design is penned by Monaco based design firm Espen Øino, while her interiors are from the boards of Redman, Whiteley, Dixon (RWD). Berthed just adjacent to her is superyacht support vessel, Fulk al Salamah. Yes! She is a support vessel built in 2016 to welcome guests of the Sultane when the Al Said is not enough. Fulk al Salamah is a 164 meter superyacht built in 2016 by Mariotti Yachts in Italy and is considered the world's largest superyacht by volume with a gross tonnage of 20,361 GT. Both her exterior and interior designs were completed by Studio de Jorio in Italy. Fully equipped with a helicopter landing pad, a very generous accommodation space, the motor yacht can reach a whopping speed of 22 knots!

They are such a sight to behold in the town of Muttrah, Muscat.
